You look out over an array of army tents, nearly all clad in facades that mimic buildings from a fantasy setting. With enough imagination, these tents together form an entire city, called Ravenskeep. A fellow participant stands smiling at you, her outstretched hand beckoning you to walk with her through a wooden city gate flying a banner with a raven on it.

Welcome to Ravenskeep Adventures

Step into a world of epic fantasy and immersive stories! Ravenskeep Adventures is a live-action role-playing game (LARP) where players create their own stories, engage in exciting battles, and immerse themselves in character-driven adventures.

Our world is heavily influenced by Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Vikings and Dungeons & Dragons. Magic plays a major role in our setting, with more than 25 different paths for character development.

Our association has been organizing live action roleplay (LARP) events twice a year since 1997. Ravenskeep Adventures was founded to make LARP accessible to everyone. We strive for affordability without compromising quality, so everyone can experience a rich and believable gaming experience.

In addition to the two main events per year, special events are also organized on player initiative. Players can request specials by submitting a plan to the HGM. This way, events related to the setting and the world can be played out year-round.

What makes Ravenskeep unique?

There are many other live roleplay associations in the Netherlands, so what makes Ravenskeep different? There are several points where we feel we differ from other associations and are unique. It's not about which association is the best, but rather which association best suits you and your gaming interests. Making a choice is personal, and all we can do is provide you with as much information as possible through this website. However, you'll have to experience it yourself…

Ravenskeep events have an unprecedented atmosphere of their own due to the following aspects:

  • Organizing high-quality events with low prices yet with their own character and atmosphere. Ravenskeep is a camping event where you spend the night in your own tent. We provide the location with sanitary facilities, and for a fee, breakfast, snacks, and (if ordered in the webshop) dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings.
  • Our events take place around the same environment: the city of Ravenskeep. A city is built with tents of various sizes at a fixed, wooded location. In the evening, the city is illuminated with lights mounted in the trees.
  • Besides a serious setting with corresponding storyline, fun play, which we call "lolplay," is an important element of our atmosphere.
